Tournaments

Tournaments are a necesity to the Magic Universe.  For most people they are a way to meet new friends and for others its a life.  There are many types of tournaments and sets of rules.  For more info go to www.wizards.com/magic/.

 Standard

Standard is a set of rules used in tournaments that you may only use cards from current sets.  This can include anything from the last three to five sets.

 Extended

Extended is a tournament type that uses sets up to ten blocks back or farther.

 Draft

A draft is a tournament between friends that consist of booster packs of cards passed around a table until all the cards are taken, one by one.  The players then create a deck out of these cards and have a single elimination tournament.
